After living many years overseas in sunny southern California, we moved back to Hamburg, Germany in 2014. Shortly after moving, we opened up our  store in Winterhude. A few years later in 2018, we opened our second store Tante Brocante, in the Harz.

Marieke, the older daughter studied art in the USA, and supplies the store with unique art, while Merle, the younger daughter who studied Fashion Design in Germany, with sewn goods. Mamma Sauerkraut is the heart of it all, so to say.

We make and create, buy and flip. There is always something to find at the stores, and if not - just get inspired or come and say hi.
